A selection of tea cosies custom-designed.
Cottons and silks form the basis of most of this style of cosy, all with removable, washable inserts, and often with matching "hotpads"
(1) extensive ribbon flower detailing over a running stitch pattern, black organza ruffles, with black satin, checkerboard back.
. (2) Blue organza tops moire fabric, and is tufted with tiny ribbon roses and leaves.
(3) Sunflower cosy foundation is 100% cotton;lrge sunflower centres comprised of hundreds of french knots- cotton floss.
(4) Cotton foundation was painted with acrylics, then all details of fairies and flowers was embroidered using satin stitching, cotton floss.
